Friedrich Wilke Family Reunion Williams Creek School / Community Center, 5501 S Ranch Road 1623 The annual Friedrich Wilke family reunion will be held Saturday, September 19, at the Williams Creek School / Community Center, 5501 S Ranch Road 1623. Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. and the covered dish meal served at noon. Barbecued chicken, tea, and tableware will be furnished. Descendants are asked to bring a side dish or dessert with serving spoon; family photos and scrapbooks for the memorabilia table; and items for the door prize drawings. A short meeting will be held at 2 p.m. to plan next year’s reunion. For more information, contact 830-644-2651.

Kirchhoff Reunion Lady Bird Johnson Park Descendents of Johann Phillip Kirchhoff and Charlotta Eggert Kirchhoff will hold their annual reunion. A BarBQ lunch will be served at noon. Attendees are asked to bring side dishes for the meal. Activities include: horse shoe tournaments, bingo, cake walks.

San Antonio Genealogical & Historical Society's 51st Annual Fall Seminar San Antonio TX The San Antonio Genealogical & Historical Society is pleased to present it's 51st Annual Fall Seminar on October 16 at the downtown Doubletree Market Square (formerly Radisson) Hotel. The one day event will feature John Philip Colletta, Ph.D. Dr. Colletta's topics will be: 1) Breaking through Brick Walls - Use Your Head, 2) Using Newspapers for Family History Research, 3) Using Original & Derivative Sources: How to Evaluate Evidence 4) How to Assemble & Write a Narrative Family History.
